Short characteristics of the site: Neovolcanics of the České Středohoří Mts. Abandoned quarry exposing distal parts of the Doupov volcanic complex. Several bodies of distal lahar deposits of sandy character with some basalt fragments are covered by a fluvial volcaniclastic deposit and a lava flow which represents youngest part of this sequence.
Regional geologic unit: Bohemian Massif - superficial deposits and post-Variscian magmatites - Tertiary - Basins under Krušné hory Mts.and adjoining volcanic uplands
